Turkey Day Stripes

Happy Thanksgiving Y'all!  I am looking forward to a very full day (3-4 meals!) of food & family.  Then my mother and I are heading out shopping, even though we only need a few things.  It's just nice to have some mother daughter time with no time constricts.  The men are at home asleep so no one is waiting for us to get home and we just shop and talk :)

China Glaze Put A Bow On It Holiglaze Collection

Hi y'all :)  Today I have a polish from the China Glaze 2013 Holiglaze Collection.  As I mentioned in my last post, I picked up 3 polishes from this collection (This is Tree-Mendous, Put A Bow On It and So Blue Without You) and all of them have been fantastic!

Hi y'all :)  Today I have a polish from the China Glaze 2013 Holiglaze Collection.  I picked up 3 polishes from this collection and all of them have been fantastic!  I grabbed This is Tree-Mendous (green & gold micro glitter), Put A Bow On It (fuchsia micro glitter), and So Blue Without You (bright blue shimmer foil).

Today I have a polish called Black Duo Holo from Indie Polish.  This is my first polish from this brand and I was definitely impressed!  This polish was actually purchased for me by my 21 month old son, who apparently ordered it when I left the page up and walked away from the computer.  I found out when I opened the mailbox and had a package!

Pink Purple Galaxy

Hey y'all, today I have my first "galaxy" style mani.  This isn't the typical color scheme for a galaxy (blue, black, pink, green etc.) but rather one based on Zoya Payton (my base color).   The idea was more of a twilight colored galaxy scheme but it didn't quite turn out like I wanted.

I started with Zoya Payton as my base, then sponged China Glaze Gossip Over Gimlets.  Then LA Colors Light Pink Metalic, and Zoya Reva.  I then sponged a little of the base color to blend it all a bit.  I dabbed Wet N Wild Coloricon Speak When Spoken To on the very center and topped it all with crack (China Glaze Fairy Dust) and Sally Hansen InstaDri.
